Some of My Favorite Music

Music is sooooooooo incredibly powerful & moving.  Here are some of my favorite's in no particular order.

"Same Love" by Seattle's own Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, this song has become a bit of a gay anthem (many of my gay besties played this song at their wedding). But above all the lyrics are very powerful and and they apply to various other situations where people are "in the closet" such as people who are in the closet about spanking or in the closet in regards to other BDSM activities.

Adele's "Hello", so amazingly moving & beautiful

"Love the Way You Lie" my favorite from Eminem & Rihanna

The Cure's "Love Song"

Whenever I hear "Sail" by AWOLNATION, I always want to do a hair toss move that I learned a few years back in an Intro to Pole Dancing class that I took from a Groupon I got. This was the song we spent 5 weeks learning our routine to.  I sucked at pole dancing by the way, but at least I got some amusement out of casually bringing it up in conversation and having some of my friends spit out their beer upon hearing that a goody-goody like myself had taken such a class.  The look of shock on their faces was worth taking a class I sucked in.

Most songs by the Venga Boys (it's possible you may not have heard of them, they are quite popular abroad, but not so well known here in the States)

Most of Kenny G's music, not any one song in particular.

Hozier's "Take Me To Church". The music video is so moving, I almost burst into tears every time I watch it.
