So I read this quote, and it had me rolling on the floor laughing, because there are actually a lot of people who think like this. Since I am working with a few clients on their healthy eating habits and fitness as part of our sessions, I figured I would share this. You know who you are, this ones for YOU!
Also, this is common knowledge in the fitness world, but many regular people do not know this one crucial fact. Weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise. So if weight loss is a goal of yours, focus first on eating a healthy nutritious meals, then on your exercise program. If you don't know what healthy eating is, then educate yourself! I once had a client of mine at my vanilla job say to me "So if I eat this package of diet cookies and drink this 2-gallon of diet coke will I lose weight?" Ack, first of all drinking "diet" soda is a chemical sh*tstorm! Pop in general whether it's regular or diet is just plain bad for you. And eating diet cookie with the intention of loosing weight is just not going to work. They've actually found that most people who consume a lot of "diet" cookies or other foods are in the overweight or obese BMI categories so it has not been found to actually work. People who are fit and lean tend to eat a TON of veggies and some fruits, plus lean healthy proteins & some healthy carbs. With minimal to no processed foods.
Looking forward to checking in on how your progress towards your goals are going, and then dishing out either a "reward" spanking or a "punishment" spanking! I hope you will make me proud :)
Okay, I cannot resist anymore... eating peanutbutter every day is healthy for some people, well for one person. Someone did say that everything in moderation is ok, lol!!!
